Navya Bhasin
Teaching Assistant Volunteer - Bollywood
Navya has been part of the dance school since she was 5 years old, and Sangeetha’s passion and commitment have always been a source of inspiration for her. Navya has been passionate about dance for as long as she can remember. As a child, it was her way of being creative, sharing laughs with friends, and challenging herself to master new steps—a love that has only grown over the years.
Now as a teacher, Navya finds her work especially rewarding. The energy, enthusiasm, and fearlessness of the kids she teaches inspire her every day. Watching them give their all in classes and performances is one of her favorite parts of the job.
Many of Navya’s closest friendships began here, and teaching now feels like a full-circle moment—especially when she choreographs dances she once learned herself. Navya is deeply grateful to be part of this community and loves giving back to the place that shaped her journey.

Jia Chopra
Teaching Assistant Volunteer - Bollywood
Jia has been part of Swara Nritya since she was 6 years old, with Sangeetha as her first dance teacher. For Jia, dance is a way to express herself, unleash her creativity, and find moments of relaxation. It’s not just a passion but also a stress reliever and a source of joy. She loves the sense of community dance creates, the friendships she has built, and the valuable skills and experiences she has gained along the way.
What Jia enjoys most about teaching is watching her students grow to love dance as much as she does. Seeing their happiness and excitement in every lesson is incredibly rewarding and fuels her passion for sharing the art of dance. Over the years, Sangeetha has become a key influence in her life, offering support, encouragement, and countless opportunities to grow. From performances and competitions to teaching younger students, these experiences have shaped Jia both in and out of dance. She is proud to give back to the community that has given her so much.
